Set Designers
Our set designers are the perfect example of complete professionals.
Their work commences with the reallization of ideas and sketches to best produce the correct atmosphere for the show.
Together with the production team the final blueprints are assesed and decided before the set designer sets to work building, colouring and finishing the set.
Set designers must have a base in painting and graphics but must also work on constructions in wood and polistyrene.
In order to complete every set to the required standard in the allotted time every set designer must be inventive, hard-working and passionate.
During theri time at Art & Show many set designers have learned invaluable lessons and have revelled in the chance to create stunning scenery with the provided materials.
Costume Designer
Also costume designers need this complete approach as the design and realiztion of each and every costume is their job.
The costume designers also repair costumes and assist, behind the scenes, every show and musical.
A good working knowledge of sewing both by hand and machine is vital as well as the neccesary flair and design sense to create stunning and original costumes.
